Hope Institute of Uganda Scholarships
Hope Institute of Uganda provides educational subsidies and scholarship for children in Uganda whose families are unable to pay the costs themselves. This program continues recruiting students as funding allows. These subsidies and scholarships are available for primary / secondary school education, for some vocational training in special cases. Average cost of K-Primary 7 education is $650.00 for senior 1-6 is $750.00 per year.
100% of the Education Budget of HIU is dedicated to primary and secondary education at this time.
Some of the 17 children currently being sponsored through HIU have personal sponsors who pay their yearly fees and some have sponsorship teams consisting of a number of families who share the fees. We are planning to take another child for the 2015 academic year and are actively recruiting sponsors.
The balance of fees for the children who do not have personal sponsorship or those who need more people to be part of their team are supported through the sale of Jinja Jewelry.
HIU and it’s volunteers would like to have more direct sponsorship so we are able to reach more children. The children also benefit greatly from a relationship with personal sponsor or team.
Please join us in helping these children, be a sponsor, be part of a team, be part of the general funding. Choose your way to help the students: BE PART OF A TEAM.
